Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our growing legal team. As an Associate, you will be responsible for providing legal advice, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in various legal matters. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the legal framework, and a passion for resolving complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a range of matters, including but not limited to corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and litigation.
- Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analyze legal precedents to support case strategies.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration as required.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist in business development by fostering client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent. A Master's degree (LL.M) is preferred.
- Valid license to practice law in Nepal.
- 1-3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate or litigation setting.
- Strong knowledge of Nepali legal system and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in corporate law, intellectual property law, and/or litigation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
